I propose two types of Art History classes per term:

An 8-week series (one on Tuesday evening and one on Saturday morning), and a one-off class (on Saturday morning).

If you are hesitant to sign up for an 8-week series, please try one of the one-off classes.

Art History is a window to the past to understand social and cultural history through study of art works. Over the centuries, France has played a leading role in the cultural life of Europe from the emergence of Roman and Gothic architecture to the rebellious Impressionists, creating masterpieces that gave a new meaning to the concept of art.
I will lead you through the Gothic Cathedrals, the Loire Castles, The Tapestry of the Lady and the Unicorn, the wonders of the Louvres and Orsay museums, Rodin's sculptures and the spectacular Garden of Monet...
Discover and learn how to look at painting, sculpture, and architecture in terms of subject, lines, forms and colours
The art forms that will be reviewed are: painting, sculpture and architecture.
Immerse yourself in the wonders of that time.
